In this class we focus on marriage and family. We learn about values, possible family hardships, the many differences between men and women and much more.
When I was given this assignment on teen pregnancy I decided to not only answer the required questions but also to express some of my opinions on the subject. Some questions answered in this article were natural responses but others I found particularly difficult to answer. When I was asked to assume that my best friend came to me to tell me that she was pregnant and asked me for advice, it was a little hard to imagine and fully answer honestly. Although it took me awhile to take this assignment into full consideration, I feel that it was a good thing to think about and really express my thoughts on this type of situation.
Sexually transmitted diseases are becoming more of a problem in our society today. These diseases are 100% preventable and I believe that if everyone had appropriate education on the subject of sex and its risks, STDs would become less of a problem. In this article I reflected on what I think would make a difference in the attempt to decrease the chances of this issue growing.
